At Bluewater Health on Sunday December 5, 2010, YVONNE JOYCE (PENHALE) COOPER age 61 of Sarnia. Beloved wife of Allan (Alfie) Cooper. Cherished mother of Bill Cooper and his companion Linda Barker of Petrolia and Dawn Eveson and her husband Lloyd of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Madyson Eveson. Dear sister of Sheridan Penhale and his wife Betty of Sarnia, Gwen Bernard and the late Terry of London, Cheryl Blum and her husband Frank of Sarnia, Daryle Morgan and her husband Gary of Sarnia, Brad Penhale of Sarnia, Glenda and Steve of London, Lori Walt and the late Chuck, Kevin Penhale and his wife Nora, Scott and Timbit Penhale and Brent Penhale and his wife Jean all of Sarnia. Sister in law to Robert and Doris Cooper, Douglas Cooper, Betty Grant and her husband Norman, Bill (yoyo) Cooper, Delores Smith, John and Sally Cooper, Gerald Cooper, Rose Courtis and her husband Lyle, Karen Last and her husband Dave, Joyce Boschman and her husband Elmer, Larry Cooper and James and Patty Cooper. She will be sadly missed by her special friends Bob and Linda Firman, Sheila Coats, Sheila Caine, Sandy, Carol, Reta, Bev and Ollie. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by her parents Donald and Mildred Penhale, her brother Bill Penhale and brothers in law Donald Cooper, Stanley Cooper and Tom Cooper. Yvonne owned and operated the Durango Restaurant then was a long time employee and retired from Bluewater Health. Special thanks to Gwen, Joyce and Elmer, Scott, Brad, Glenda, Shelby, Cindy and all her co-workers at Bluewater Health. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Wednesday December 8th at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph's Hospice or the Sarnia Humane Society(cheques only please). Messages of condolence may be sent through djrobbfh@ebtech.net.
