William (Bill) Young

At Bluewater Health - Palliative Care on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, WILLIAM HERBERT (BILL) YOUNG, age 84, beloved husband of Audrey Hilda Young (nee Chate), of Sarnia. Dear father of John (Velma) Young, Susan (Mike) Collins, Jill (Charlie) Doiron, Steven Young, Jim (Shelly) Young, Jennifer (Hector) Audette and Mary Jane (Eric) Kartzmark. Loving grandfather of Michael, Daniel, Joshua, Jessica, Liam and Luke Young, Caitlin and Cory Collins, Derek, Jeffrey and Ashley Doiron, Philippe and Dominique Audette. Brother of Patricia Pauls of Kelowna, B.C. and Jim Young of Chilliwack, B.C. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Born in Chilliwack, B.C., Bill attended the University of British Columbia, graduating in 1948 as a Chemical (Professional) Engineer. He worked for 42 years with Polymer Corporation (now Lanxess Inc.). Private family services have been held at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE with interment in Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit of Bluewater Health.
