William Frederick Quackenbush

With his family by his side, at Bluewater Health on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, WILLIAM (BILL) FREDERICK QUACKENBUSH, age 74 of Sarnia passed away. He was the loving husband of Beverly Quackenbush and dear father of William (Kim), Douglas (Jen) and Donald (Kim) and daughter Jen (Rusty), 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, brother of Celena, Doreen, Cathy, Fran and Debbie, brother in law of Carol and Wayne, Gord, and Diane. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Bill will be deeply missed by his little pet girl "Suzie Q". He was predeceased by his parents William and Luella, sisters Donna and Marion, step-father Tom Scott, sister in law Kathy and Vickie, mother and father in law Gordon and Joanne and his grandson Tyler (1999). Bill (Big Daddy) Quackenbush), a.k.a., the Mayor of Paradise Valley Family Campground retired from Holmes Foundry after 27 years of service. Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, December 30th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Sunday between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial gifts to Bluewater Health Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
