William "Willie" Popp

At Bluewater Health on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019, William (Willie) Michael Popp, age 73 of Sarnia passed away. He was the loving and caring father of Corey Popp and Carley Popp (Chris). Willie was born in Windsor and was a longtime area resident. He had retired from Suncor after many years of service. During his life he had been an avid baseball coach and thoroughly enjoyed his golf and friends during the peak of the good old days at Crabbies Golf Club in Bright’s Grove. Willie also loved fishing once a year with the family in Algoma where he even has a small cove named after him on the old topographical surveys called “Willies Crack”. Memorial donations made in Willies memory to the Sarnia Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Private arrangements were provided by the Cremation Planners of the D. J.
