William Bill Edward McLean

At Bluewater Health on Monday, November 3, 2014, WILLIAM (BILL) EDWARD McLEAN, age 95 of Sarnia peacefully passed away. He was the loving husband of the late Kay McLean (2002) and dear father of Linda Huether (Rick) and Janice Beaulac (Jerry) of Bright's Grove, grandfather of Christine Ellwood (Robin) of Wyoming, Steven Reinhart (Gail) of London, England, Julie Ananda DeSilva (Charles) of Rio de Janeiro, Jesse Kahili (Beaulac) of Vancouver, step-grandfather of Matthew Huether (Amy) of Toronto, Allison Huether of Toronto, great-grandfather of Andrea, Kaitlyn and Seth, uncle of Eleanor (Nick) and Clark (Doreen). He is lovingly remembered by his good friend Donna Stewardson. Bill served in WWII from 1940 to 1946 in England and Europe with the Royal Patricia Regiment and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #62. He was a founding member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church and had retired from Sears Canada after many years of service. In honour of Bill's wishes there will be no visitation and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the D. J.
