WILLIAM H. EHMAN (Bill)

1925 - 2019

Peacefully at Vision Nursing Home early on Wednesday morning, August 7, 2019 Bill passed away leaving behind his beloved wife of 73 years, Ardis. He was the loving Dad of Lynne VanHorn, Bill Ehman (Kathryn) and Beth Thompson (Bruce), loving Papa of Jennifer Lyman (Marty), Amy Laczo (Paul), Katy VanHorn, Kate Serrano (Fausto), Ben Ehman (Cigi), Bryan and Jake Thompson and Best Papa to Abigail Lyman, Paul, Anna and William Laczo, Landon, Brady, Sophia and Gabe Serrano and Logan Ehman. He is also survived his sister in law Marjorie Ehman and will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and his many dear friends. He is predeceased by his parents, his sister, four brothers, his son in law Larry VanHorn and his great-granddaughter Caroline Lyman. Bill was an employee of Cabot Canada for 38 years, retiring as President. After retiring Bill did consulting work for Cabot and Lambton College. Cremation arrangements have made through the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9). A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 at 12:00 pm (noon). Friends are welcome to visit with the family prior to the service starting at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Inn of the Good Shepherd, Canadian Alzheimer’s Association or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
