William Alfred Dempsey

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph's Hospice on Sunday, November 24, 2013, WILLIAM ALFRED DEMPSEY, age 86 of Sarnia passed away. Beloved husband of Marie Paule Angeline Dempsey (nee Boulanger) . Loving father of Bonnie Duquette and her husband Maurice of Wallaceburg and Cathy Mathany and her husband Michael of Chatham and stepfather of Donald Cote and Darquise Cote. Also survived by his sister Mabel Whitbread of Windsor and nieces Heather and Kerrie. Cherished grandfather of Randy Duquette, Ann Marie Vancoille, Clarke Mathany, Ashley Rivard, Ian Mathany, Bryan Thrower, Dennis Purdon several great -grandchildren. Will also be missed by his extended family in Quebec. William retired from Polysar, enjoyed bowling and his sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place.
