It is with broken hearts that the family of Billy Heater announces his passing on March 27th, 2018 at the age of 64 years after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. He is survived by seven brothers and sisters; Bobby Heater, Ian Heater (Mary Jane), Gail Kyle, Lois Dale, Heather Williams (Rick), Debra Heater and Robynne Lewis (Mike). Also surviving are nieces and nephews Kelly, Karin, Jay, Darryl, Nikki and Frances and great-nephews Jared, Jacob, Connor and Kyle. He will also be lovingly remembered by his best friends John and Ann Barnes and Rick Steeves. Billy was predeceased by his parents Fred and Ena Heater and brother in law Graham Kyle. Born in Montreal, he later moved to Sarnia where he worked as a typesetter with Marcy and Haines Printing for many years. Billy’s passion was his music and guitars. He loved to entertain and had a faithful following whenever he was playing at one of our many local local pubs and bars. In keeping with Billy’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of Bill’s life will be held in August. Memorial donations made in memory of Billy to the Canadian Cancer or Sarnia Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia). Messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
