At Victoria Hospital, London on Monday May 27, 2024, William (Bill) Fredrick Keith Taylor, age 77 of Sarnia passed away from complications following surgery. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Lauzon) Taylor and loving father to Steve and Jenn Taylor, Ann Maitland, Marty Sturdevant and Lora and Chris Stevens. He will also be greatly missed by siblings Gerry and Carol Taylor, Gary and Jackie Taylor, Kathy Vye, Joan and Frank Clement, Keith Taylor, Jill and Norm Walker, Wanda Soulliere and Darryl Taylor, papa to Wade & Joey, Katie Alexander and Alex Pitfield, Brandon Alexander and Kirissa Dunlop, Keegan Maitland and Owen Howard, Chloe Taylor and Luke Nahmabin, and 2 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Sheila Taylor. Also survived by Mary Ann Fletcher (mother of Steve and Anne) and many treasured nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Keith Taylor (1991) and Ila Taylor (2014), siblings David Taylor and Donald Taylor, sisters-in-law Karen Taylor and Rachel Taylor, and brothers-in law Eugene Soulliere and Joe Vye. Bill worked as a Fire Technician for Imperial Oil from which he retired in 2004. He has been an active member of the Sarnia Lakeshore Optimist Club and was also formerly affiliated with Sarnia Lambton Crimestoppers. He enjoyed attending and singing in the choirs of both Parker Street United Church and Dunlop Central United Church. His greatest passions however were playing golf and enjoying coffee and long chats with his long time friends. Resting at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St. Sarnia) where the family will receive friends on Thursday May 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Dunlop Central United Church (757 Rosedale Ave., Sarnia) on Friday May 31st at 12:00 pm. with visitation from 11:00 am. until time of service. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy through donations to the Sarnia Lakeshore Optimist Club or Dunlop Central United Church www.dunlopuc.ca would be greatly appreciated by the family.
