William "Bill" Robert Haight

After a valiant battle with brain cancer, William “Bill” Robert Haight passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health at the age of 56 on Monday April 22, 2024 while surrounded by his family.  Loving husband of Stephanie Haight of 34 years and admirable father of Andrew (Cassie) Haight and Kara (Blake) Haight.  Dear brother of Jeff (Kristin) Haight and “Pickle Bill” to nephews Ben and Tom.   Predeceased by his mother Judy Evans (2017).  Bill retired from LiUNA Local 1089 at the age of 55.  Bill will be remembered for being able to fix anything but a TV, coaching his kids in baseball, being the life of the party and keeping everyone laughing, family vacations and the annual Chantel Court Fireworks Party.  Cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia) on Friday April 26^th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada www.braintumour.ca
