Peacefully at Bluewater Health Sarnia with loved ones by his side William “Bill” Fraser passed away on September 21,2022 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Katherine (Steiner-Hall) for 38 years. Father of Bill (Sandy) Fraser and Ronald Bruce Fraser of Sarnia. Stepfather to Shannon (Nelson) Guerette of Sarnia and Michael (Kellie Ryan) Hall of Navan, Ireland. Grandfather of Tammy Duke, Derek Fraser, Chris Fraser, Ken Fraser, Dan Williamson, Jessica Williamson, Tara Fraser, Sara Fraser, Scott Hemstreet and JD Hall. Great-grandfather of Jon, Rebecca, Alexis, Daytona, Tayna, Ryder, Laban, Future, Audio, Hunter, Karlee, Chloe and Great Great Grandfather to Waylon. Bill is survived by his sister Sharon Case, sister-in-law Shirley Fraser and many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents Robert and Yvette (Thomas) Fraser. Siblings, Bob, Tommy, Don, Jack, Gary, and Betty-Anne Tyrie. Daughter Bonnie Fraser and son Ken Fraser. Bill retired in 1986 after 36 years of service with Esso Chemical, he enjoyed woodworking as his favorite hobby and built many fine pieces of furniture. Bill was very mechanical inclined; he repaired many vehicles. He also had his 5^th class engineer papers and in Moose Jaw he operated the Steam Train at the Western Development Museum for 8 years as a volunteer to entertain parents and children. Bill took pride in sharing his knowledge and skill set with others. We wish to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the Doctors and nurses of the Bluewater Health Palliative Care for their help and compassion and to the PSW workers Leslie and Crystal for their very dedicated care for that last 3 years. Private cremations arrangements have taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada www.heartandstroke.ca in memory of Bill. The arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., N7T 5W9, Sarnia).
