DOUGLAS, Wilfrid Andrew: Peacefully at Twin Lakes Terrace with family at his side on Wednesday January 29, 2014, Wilfrid passed away in his 89th year. Beloved husband for over 64 years of Marion (Cann); cherished father of Dianne of Mississauga and Ross (Sharon) of Sarnia. Predeceased by his parents Margaret (Walker) and Andrew Douglas, and brothers Ray and Arnold.Wilfrid was for many years a dedicated Elder of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Retired in 1986 after 34 years with Dow Chemical, he enjoyed singing solo and in church choirs in his younger years, and as a member of the Bluewater Chordsmen for 36 years. A faithful member of the ACCCC and McLaughlin Buick car clubs, golf was also a favourite hobby.Visitation will take place at D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 Victoria Street N., Sarnia on Friday January 31, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. The funeral will be held Saturday February 1 at 1:30 pm. Interment in Alvinston Cemetery.Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Parkinson Society or charity of your choice.
