Wayne Waters

At his residence with his family by his side, Thursday January 7, 2010, Wayne Wesley (Weiner) Waters passed away at the age of 64. Beloved husband of 41 years to Marion (Plain) Waters of Sarnia. Dear father of Kim (Lorne) Hopkins and Kathy Waters (Jake Jacobs). Cherished grandfather of Kari (Ben), Josh (Shay), Justin, Kobi, Kendall, Shannon, Charmaine and great grandfather of Jaylene, Camryn, Skylar, Cianna and Blayden. Also survived by sister Betty Armstrong, sisters-in-law Ruth Waters, May Waters, Joanne Waters, Sharon Plain, Vivian Washington, Liz Yellowman, brother-in-law Stan Plain and several nieces and nephews, special friends Kay Lawrence, Alfie Cooper and Mike McGovern. Predeceased by daughters Betsy and Kelly, parents Peter and Sarah Waters, brothers Dominic, Howard, Harold, sisters Marie Willer and Irene Caldwell. Wayne was employed with the City of Sarnia for 42 years. Resting at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE where services will be held on Monday January 11, at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon and evening from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Canadian Cancer Society.
