Verna Alice Tomlinson

At Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Monday, February 22, 2010, VERNA HILDA ALICE (SCULLY) TOMLINSON, age 98, of Sarnia, beloved wife of 60 years of the late Henry Richard Tomlinson (1998). Dear mother of Faith Archer and Donald Tomlinson both of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Scott Tomlinson and fianc郩 Leanne of Sarnia, Kelly Tomlinson (Robert VanAsseldonk) of Calgary, Clarke Archer (Donna) of Ilderton and Robin Muscato (Steve) of Sarnia and great grandmother of Kenneth Muscato. Sister of Kathleen Smith in Quebec. Sister-in-law of Lyle Tomlinson, Eldon Tomlinson (Gina), Betty Kurck (Norm) and June Tomlinson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Predeceased by parents David and Stella Scully, sisters Georgena Wilson (Sam) and Sadie Plouff (Hector), brother Clarence Scully (Amanda) and sons-in-law Ken Archer and Hugo Borchardt. A member of Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church, Verna was also a member of Order of the Easter Star, Chapter #50 for more than 60 years and was Worthy Matron in 1967 - 1968. Funeral service will be celebrated from Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church on Friday, February 26th at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Thursday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #50 will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy may be made through memorial donations to Canon Davis Memorial Anglican Church or a Charity of Choice (cheques only please).
