Trevor Nelson Maness

It is with great sadness that the family announces that on Monday, January 13, 2014, of the sudden passing of TREVOR NELSON MANESS age 30, of Sarnia. Much loved son of Tracey Parker (nee Maness) and step son of Rick Parker and son of Terrance Blackbird of Walpole Island. Dear brother of Carson, Terrance Jr., and Sharlynn Blackbird all of Walpole Island. Beloved grandson of Jenny Blackbird and the late Slyvester Blackbird of Walpole Island. Loved and survived by many aunts, uncles, family members and friends. Trevor loved his community of Aamjiwnaag and his heritage as in Anishinaba Nini. Predeceased by his grandparents Gerald and Dorothy Maness and Richard and Betty Parker. Funeral service will be held from Maawn Doosh Gumig (Community Centre) 1972 Virgil Avenue on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Aamjiwnaang First Nation Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family
