Timothy Robert Postill

Timothy Robert Postill, unexpectedly passed away on September 21, 2017, at the age of 60. He was the loving father of Shane Postill (Jess) McCormick, Melissa (Kyle) Babcock and previous wife Maureen Dawson. He was the proud grandfather of Pacie Babcock, Levity Babcock and Hunter Vern Postill and beloved brother of Danny (Tina) Postill, Mark Postill, and Shawn Postill, dear nephew of Arlene Johnson. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was predeceased by his parents Beverly Postill (Tennant) and Vernon Postill, brother Terry Postill and sister Verlene (Ron) Wallace.  Tim was a talented drummer, playing all over the Sarnia Lambton area.  Music was his passion, attending concerts, playing events and teaching drums. His younger days were full of colour, adventure with fascinating stories he often loved to share.  Tim later settled down, creating a family and becoming a business owner. He took pride in his work as a furniture refinisher.  He was a loving father with a passion for life.  Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, baseball and socializing with his friends and family. Tim suffered from a head injury in the early 2000’s which impacted him.  Despite his injury, he continued to love life and pave his own path in his later days. Tim will always be in our hearts and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Donations appreciated to CMHA, Breast Cancer Society or ALS Society of Canada. Visitation will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 Victoria St. North) on Thursday September 28, at 12:00 pm. with the funeral to proceed at 1:00 pm.
