Thomas Beeson Hodgins

HODGINS, THOMAS - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Thomas Beeson Hodgins, age 89 of Sarnia on Wednesday June 10, 2020 at Bluewater Health. He was the loving husband of Mary Lou (Rawlings) Hodgins, dear father of David Hodgins and his wife Janette, Cathy Bayly and her husband Kevin, grandfather of Rebecca and Sarah Hodgins, Mike Mann and his wife Kelly, Chris Mann and his wife Amber, great-grandfather of Hayden, Sullivan, Grace and Olivia and brother-in-law of Pat and Bob Wright. He was predeceased by his brother in law Don Rawlings and his wife Pat. He retired from Polysar after 35 years of service. “Tubby” played hockey as a goalie for the Sarnia Junior Sailors. He was a MVP OHA Jr. B Champs, OHA Sr. B and coached the Port Huron Midget All Stars and with the Old Timers (Petrolia and Point Edward) until he was 80 and a member of the Sarnia Sports Hall of Fame. He also played golf at the SGCC, enjoyed the cottage at Lion’s Head and worked out at Pinnseneault’s and Iron Works. Charitable donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9).
