THOMAS MATTHEWS CHAPMAN : April 30, 1955 – February 19, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Tom at Victoria Hospital in London on February 19, 2025 at the age of 69. Tom lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Predeceased in death by his parents Tim and Noreen. Beloved husband of Debbie for 44 years. Loving father of Allison and Erin (Tony). Treasured Papa of Blake and Stella. He adored his “lil fur”, Tank. 

Tom was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 793 for many years and often referred to himself as “dirt boy”. 

There will be no service at this time. Cremation is being arranged by D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St. Sarnia, ON). There will be a celebration of life arranged in the spring at which time his ashes will be scattered at Centennial Park. 

A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated nurses at the critical care unit in Victoria hospital. A very special thank you to Natalie who was so supportive to the end.
