BAKER, THOMAS ALLAN (é¢aA"Bakeré¢a) passed away peacefully at his home in Sarnia, Ontario on December 30, 2011 at the age of 85, é¢aA"Bakeré¢a, as he was known, was predeceased by his mother Violet, father Ben, brother Roy, wife Edna mother of his children, wife Edie (Daley) and much loved son Tom of Calgary. Baker joined the Merchant Marines at the onset of World War II and following the war, apprenticed as a Steam fitter in the Halifax shipyards. He was a life - long member of the UA and received recognition from UA Local 663 in observance of 50 years plus. Father of Donna (Marcel) Clement of Sarnia, Mike (Sue) Baker of Windsor, Tom Baker (deceased) (Debbie) of Calgary. David (Kim) Baker of Sarnia, Tim Baker of Sarnia and Nina (Brad) Baker of Sarnia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great - great granddaughter. Extended family members Patsy Wilde, Leslie and Sara Mullen and the Thorton's. A Memorial Celebration of Baker's Life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday January 4, 2012 from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE. Interment of ashes will follow at a later date. é¢aA"Bakeré¢a was a well loved character and his presence will be missed. Expressions of sympathy may be made through a Charity of Choice. The D. J.
