At her residence on Thursday, October 22, 2009, SYLVIA IDA ( GASSON ) WILSON, age 88, of Sarnia, beloved wife of the late Norman Ivan Wilson. Dear mother of Larry Wilson and his wife Ruth of Huntsville, David (Hap) Wilson of Rosseau and Leanna Bendera and her husband Rick. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Alexa and Jeffrey Wilson and Jonathon and Todd Bendera. Dear sister of Bessie Down of Mount Brydges. Dear aunt of Barbara Westervelt and her husband Mo of Mount Brydges and Ted Down and his wife Marilyn of Victoria, B.C. Pre-deceased by three brothers John, Harold and Alec Gasson, Mrs. Wilson was born at Toronto and had resided in the London and Sarnia area for the past 20 years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Tuesday, October 27 th. at 1:00 p.m. with the Venerable Dr. Gordon J. J. Simmons officiating. The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
