HANNA, SYLVIA - Peacefully at home, with loving family, Sylvia Marie Hanna (nee LeBlanc) passed away on Saturday, June 24 at the age of 77. Loving wife of the late Walter Hanna, and predeceased by her daughter Sharon Dunn (Jack). Sylvia is survived by her daughter Linda Ward and her son Gregory Boyle (Richard). She was the cherished grandmother of Erin Dunn (Mike), Ian Dunn (Kristal), Lyall Arblaster (Missy), Seline Sauve, and Elise Deline (Jamie); and her great grandchildren McKenna, Grayson, Carson, Avery, Jackson, Mitchell, Brody, Jillian and Lena. She is also survived by her brothers John LeBlanc (Lise) and Rolly LeBlanc (late Debbie), and loved by her nieces, nephews, and great ones too. A special twinkle in her eye for Jaida Skye. She was predeceased by her parents Rose Annette and Sylvio LeBlanc. Sylvia appreciated her friends, and the dedicated Gems that make up the Fairwinds Lodge Family, such as Dawn, that helped enrich her life at a most crucial period. Sylvia’s family is forever grateful for the wonderful “palliative care at home” programme arranged by the LIHN Erie St.Clair (formally CCAC) and specifically to the dedicated PSWs, her RN Sarah, and the e-shift for ensuring that her final days were with peace and dignity. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Saturday, July 15, 2017 beginning at 12:30 pm. A celebration of Sylvia’s life will follow at 1:30 pm. Private interment and committal services will be held later at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial gifts made in memory of Sylvia to The St. Joseph’s Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
