Shirley Anne Stone

Her last smile on this earth was in Corunna on Sunday December 1, 2019. For more than 72 years in Sarnia and Corunna, she laughed, smiled, exercised and brought joy to her family and friends.  Retired for more than 20 years, you may have experienced her upbeat spirit when she worked at one of the banks downtown or come across her exercising, riding her bike or spending time with her many friends.

She was married for 52 years and predeceased by John David Stone.  Cherished mother of Paul (Sherry) and Matt (Brooke). A loving and proud Grandma of Shala (Pietro), Zoey, Tamara, Casen, Noah, Silas, great grandma of Baby John. She was sad to leave behind her sister and cohort Mary DeGurse (Steve).

Cancer took your body but did not take your smile. Your laugh will never be forgotten.

A private service was held at Aamjiwnaang First Nation Cemetery on Saturday December 7th, 2019.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9). Messages and memories of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
