GRAY, SHIRLEY – It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Esther (Parker) Gray, age 93 of Sarnia at Trillium Villa Nursing Home and with her family by her side on Thursday, January 11th, 2018. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Stanley Gray (1959) and dear mother of Gail White (George) and Bonnie Hyatt (Paul) of Corunna, Vicky Levert of Port Lambton, Karen Zantingh of Wyoming and Kelly Gray of London. She is survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way. She was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Beatrice Parker, daughters Gloria Gray and Nan Skinner, her grandchildren baby Blair Gray and Derek Huggett (2001), her sister Darlene MacDonald and brothers Stuart, Stanley and James Parker. Shirley was a strong, independent and hard working woman who raised her six children in the Indian Road home she lived in for over 62 years. She enjoyed the company of family and friends and really enjoyed playing euchre into the wee hours of the night. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 between the hours of 9:30 to 11:30 am. The funeral services will begin at 11:30 am with burial following at Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Heart & Stoke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
