Shirley Chappelle

At St. Joseph's Hospice on Friday, July 13, 2012, J. SHIRLEY (McINTOSH) CHAPPELLE, age 77, of Sarnia. Dear mother of Carey Chappelle and his wife Donna and Dean Burrows of Port Elgin, and Chriss (Burrows) Wagner and her husband Greg and Brenda (Chappelle) Pollard of Sarnia. Dear sister of Herb, Marie, Leslie and Gloria. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by a son Daniel, a brother Robert, a sister Ida and two grandsons Braxton and Keegan. A Sarnia area resident for over 60 years, Mrs. Chappelle was employed for many years as an operator with Bell Canada where she also served as the union steward. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, July 16 th. at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Deanna Gibson officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph's Hospice.
