Peacefully at Bluewater Health on Saturday October 16, 2021, SHEILA MARY (MURPHY) LINDSAY passed away at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of Garth Richard Lindsay. Loving mother of Glen (Skip) Sansome, Sean Sansome, Amanda (Chris) Leaver, Jennifer (Brian) Sheppard and Eric (Melissa) Lindsay. Cherished grandmother of Jordan Leaver, Brayden Leaver, Wynn Sheppard, Bodhi Sheppard, Maddie Lindsay and Rachel Lindsay . Sheila is survived by her mother Theresa Murphy and siblings Jerry (Floria) of Nova Scotia, David (Brenda) of Calgary, Ellen Penney (John) of Labrador City, Ann Marie Riviere (Yvon) of Nova Scotia, Denis (Lynette) of Newfoundland, Catherine Moores (Neil) of St. John’s, Danny (Sandra) of Ottawa, John of Labrador City, Robert (Mireille) of Dieppe and sister in laws: Debbie of St. John’s, Marie of Curling, Cathy of Calgary. Predeceased by her father Dennis Murphy and brothers Chris, Tony and Tom Murphy. Sheila enjoyed serving customers in the dining room of the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club for over 20 years. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Sheila's Life will be held at the Portuguese Canadian Club (399 Campbell St., Sarnia) (masks will be mandatory) on Saturday November 20th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice. Special thanks to the staff at Bluewater Health for all your dedication and care.
