Shawne Doyon

 DOYON – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Shawne Doyon, age 86 of Sarnia, on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Best friend and beloved wife of Ernie and the loving mother of Renée (Ron Cross). Sister of Rose Stetcher (Fred). She is also survived by son-in-law Sean Praill and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Adrianna and John DeWinter and daughter Nicole.

She loved music and loved to dance. She loved to laugh. She was a huge Blue Jays fan despite their inability to do anything but play “long ball”, and the never-ending running commentary from her in-house peanut gallery.

Friends may visit with the family at D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9) on Tuesday, March 25th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 26th at 1:00 p.m. at the D. J. Robb Funeral & Cremation Centre with interment to follow at Alvinston Cemetery.
