Sharon Weiss

At Bluewater Health-Palliative Care on Friday, August 20, 2010, SHARON MARIE (SCOTT) (nee MORNINGSTAR) WEISS, age 59 of Point Edward passed away. She was the loving wife of Warren Michael Weiss of Point Edward. She also leaves behind her daughter Angela (Scott) and husband Ted Bosch and their children Brooklyn, Harlee, Dawson and Shania of Warwick and her son Chris and his wife Michelle and their children Brandon of Point Edward, George and Olivia of Kilworth. She is survived by brothers Larry (Brenda) of Brigden, Wayne (Melba), Danny (Juanita) of Petrolia and Jeff of Corunna, mother in law Jean Weiss and husband Doug McFadden, brother and sister in laws Wayne and Laura Weiss, Owen and Sherry Weiss, Scott and Rose Weiss, David and June Weiss, Al and Michelle Weiss, Paul Weiss, Lynn and Greg Mathieson, Karen Weiss and Janet Weiss. She is also survived by several aunts, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Everett and Nellie Morningstar and father in law Jack Weiss. Mrs. Weiss tended bar at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #62 for 27 years before retiring in 2008. She spent her retirement years enjoying her time with her family and grandchildren. A celebration of Sharon's life will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, August 25th at 11:00 am. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial gifts to the Canadian Liver Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
