It is with sadness that the family announces the death of Shannon Eileen Bermingham (Allen), age 51 of Sarnia. Shannon passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022.
Left behind to mourn her loss are her daughters Amanda (Curtis) and Brooke (Jacob) Bermingham, her siblings Becky (Jerry) Rinaldi, Michael (Darcy) Allen, Raymond (Wendy) Allen, Duane (Treena) Allen, Stacie (Doug) Cusack, John-Paul Allen, Susan Ceballo, Leslie (Cleo) Hewson and Treena (Will) McPhee and many loving friends.
Shannon was born on January 3rd, 1971 in Blairmore, Alberta predeceased by her mother Anne Allen (Tully). She moved to Sarnia in 1983 where she has resided ever since. Shannon loved her dog, biking and the Sarnia waterfront. Her infectious laugh and sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her home care nurse Teresa, her family doctor John O’Mahony, her palliative care doctor David Kim and the team at St. Joseph’s Hospice for all their guidance and support.
A celebration of life will follow at a later date in the summer of 2022. People wishing to honour Shannon’s memory can kindly make a donation to St. Joseph’s Hospice or That Girls Got Moxie.
