Sandra Ruth Bartley

At Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Wednesday April 20,2022 SANDRA RUTH BARTLEY (nee SHARPE) born November 24, 1945,  lost her battle with Cancer. She is predeceased by her husband Melville John Bartley Sr (2016). She is also predeceased by her parents Wilker Sharpe (2009), and Ruth Sharpe (2007), and sister Suzanne Jaqueline Johnson (nee Sharpe) (2020). She is the loving mother of Melville John Wilker Bartley Jr (Claudette), Deborah Healy (Leonard), Ruth Kameka (Cleveland). She will be missed by her grandchildren: Jessica Carey (Marc), Gregory McLeod, Austin Deuning, Sarah McLeod, Emily Deuning, Zachary Deuning (Saragh), and Craig Deuning as well as 9 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Gladis Hayward (Dan), and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is a retired door greeter at Wal-Mart, she will be missed by her loving cat Butchie, she enjoyed watching her Toronto Maple Leafs play hockey, going to bingo and watching Elvis impersonator concerts. She was a kind and loving person who would help anyone who needed it.

We would like thank Robert Rozanski for all of his care and help towards mom, the care partners PSWs that were there for mom, and the nurses from Bayshore. We would like to thank Dr. Maddison, Dr. Lebert , Dr. Crombeen and the Palliative Care team.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
