Ruth Louise West

WEST, RUTH – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother Ruth Louise (Stewart) West at the age of 87 at Rosewood Manor on Sunday, October 16, 2016, She was the loving wife of the late Wilfred (Bill) West (1984) and loving mother of Mike (Sue), Daniel (Lynda), Diane West,  Susan Nicholas (Jeff), Amy Best (Carl), Jill Youde (Ken Harder) and Billy (Natalie), grandmother of Doug, Michelle, John, Chris, Wendy, Mike, Justin, Adam, Spencer, Jennifer, Billy, Karlie, Tara, Stephanie, Emily, Ryan and Ryley and 16 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Donna O’Donnell (late John, 1983), Robert Stewart (Jan), Ron (Cathy). Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents John and Rosaline, her daughter Wendy, her sister Dorothea and grandsons Kyle and Robert. Ruth was a 50 years member of TOPS/KOPS. She was an avid gardener, loved bowling and was a longtime member of High Park United Church. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Thursday, October 20th, 2016 starting at 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
