Ruth Savage

At Trillium Villa Nursing Home on Thursday, August 22, 2013, RUTH ANNE (SPAULDING) SAVAGE, age 75 of Point Edward passed away. She was the dear wife of the late Brian Savage (1997) and loving mother of Steven Savage and his wife Karen and Susan Trepanier and her husband Chris of Sarnia, grandmother of Timothy (Michelle), Scott (Sarah) Savage and Cole Trepanier, great-grandmother of Tyler, Amber, Lillian, Hailey, Ella and Cara, sister of May VanVeldhuisen (Rick). She was predeceased by her brother Larry Spaulding. Ruth was a past member of the Ladies Auxillary, Branch #62 of the Royal Canadian Legion and was a longtime Point Edward resident. Funeral services will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home on Monday, August 26th, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday between the hours of 3:00 to 5:00 pm. As an expression of sympathy memorial gifts to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
