Rose Richard

At Bluewater Health on Sunday June 23, 2013, ROSE ALINE (JOMPHE) RICHARD, age 85 of Sarnia passed away with her family at her side. She was the loving wife of the late Helier Joseph Richard (1992) and dear mother of Jeanne Castle of Sarnia, Denise Cadieux and Danny of Orangeville and Marc Richard and Cathy of Petrolia. 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren also survive as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Rose was born in the Madeleine Islands of Quebec and came to Sarnia with her husband in 1952. She was an avid bingo player. A mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Thursday, June 27th at 10:00 am. Cremation will follow and interment of ashes will be held at Wyoming Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
