Ronald Tatham

TATHAM. Ronald Charles it is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ron Tatham on March 1. 2013 in his 80th year. Beloved husband and companion of Patricia married 60 years. Loving Father of Heather Gillis (Michael), Sherry Fraser (Brent), Lori Baron (Ed Baumann). Grandfather of Jim Gillis(Becky), Jennifer Gillis. Rob and Blake Fraser Great grandfather of Kali and Hunter Gillis. Survived by Dear Brother Peter Tatham (Bev) of Lambeth and several nieces and nephews and inlaws. Pre-deceased by his parents Sidford and Florence Tatham and brother Robert Tatham Ron was a dedicated employee of Suncor retiring after 37 years of service. Ron enjoyed many years of friendship with the GBAC members in Grand Bend where they cottaged for several years. Some of his greatest joys in life included visiting his childhood cottage on Lake Kasshabog, familiy gatherings, golf, and sitting under the bluewater bridge every morning reading the paper. Ron was well known as a humorous individual who loved his daily shopping trips. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to The Inn of the Good Shepherd of Sarnia and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
