Ronald Edward Lawrence

RONALD EDWARD LAWRENCE, FCGA, passed away peacefully at the age of 96 at Afton Park Place on Thursday June 20, 2019. Ronald was born in London, England, on May 11th, 1923. Predeceased by his dear wife Joan Lawrence, he will be sadly missed by son Ted and wife Gloria of Calgary, by son Bob and wife Jo Anne of Ottawa, also by daughter Wendy and husband Willie of Toronto, also by grandchildren Shawn, Trevor, Rebecca, Tara, Brian, Tegan, and Telan. Retiree and Professor Emeritus of Lambton College, Sarnia, Fellow and Life Member of the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada, graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, past President of the International Chapter of the Administrative Management Society of Sarnia and Port Huron, founding member and first secretary of Oakridge Lodge #708 A. F. & A. M. of London, Ontario, Past Master of Moore Keys Lodge #2519 E.C. of Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, former member of the Jamaican Association of Sugar Technologists and longtime member of Grace United Church, Sarnia. Visitation will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Ltd. (102 Victoria St. N., Sarnia) on Friday June 28, 2019 at 12:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday June 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lakeview cemetery.
