Ronald Edward Johnson

Ron was loved by many.  He will be deeply missed by his twin sons Ron Johnson Jr., Kyle Johnson, their mother Pamela, his daughter-in-laws, Kristy, Haleigh, his beautiful grandchildren, Jaylin, Takoma, Nevaeh, Dante, Dakotah, Kaynan, Alyana, his loving siblings Billy (Lorraine), Suzzan, Terry (Angela), Brian (Angie).  Predeceased by parents William Johnson and Carol (Pat) Johnson, and siblings Larry and Linda.  Ron had many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins that loved him and will sadly miss Ron.

After a long battle with cancer, on the morning of July 6^th, 2023, Ron quietly fell asleep.  He passed on peacefully in his sleep.  He left beautiful memories for his loved ones.  Ron was a good person.  He was respectful and considerate to those around him.  Ron loved family time.  He grew up with strong family values and passed it onto his children and grandchildren.  To his family he was a teacher, a caring, committed father and grandfather. He was always there to listen and give good advice.  Ron was a finished carpenter.  Some of his work can be seen at Hi Way Bowl.  A place he enjoyed spending time with close friends.  Ron was gifted in all areas of building.  He took great pride in his work.  As an artist the details were everything.  Ron loved classic rock, just as much as classic cars.  To him everything classic was better that what they make today.  Ron was an active man, very athletic.  You could see him out biking, walking, running and hiking around.  Nothing not even cancer kept him down.  Ron loved God, with all his heart.  He did not fear death because he was at peace with God.  He left us in God’s loving hands, knowing we will be protected and loved.  He will be missed deeply.  His celebration with his dearly missed loved ones in the kingdom of heaven begins . . .

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation being held from 12 o’clock noon until time of service at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 North, Victoria Street, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 5W9). Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
