Roland (Rolly) Guy Irving

IRVING, Roland (Rolly) Guy - At Trillium Villa on Sunday, May 17, 2015, Roland (Rolly) Guy Irving passed away peacefully. He is predeceased by his loving wife Margaret Rose Irving (2006) and his son Brian Scott (1982). Rolly leaves behind his dear daughters Margaret (Peggy) Doucette and husband Lionel, Georgia Irving and Jo-Anne Hawryluk and husband John, grandfather to Joe and Catina (Chris Haggerty), Rick, Darryl and Cheryl Terpstra. He was known as Papa to Brian and Shelby Hawryluk. Great grandpa to Teddy Doucette and Paige Haggerty. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Rolly was an avid sailor for many years for Imperial Oil and an avid knitter and he enjoyed many hours with the pipers. The family would like to express their many thanks to the staff at Trillium Villa, and to all those who came to visit him and shared their special time. Funeral service will be held at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday May 21st at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial gifts to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
