Robert Zavitz

January 6, 2010 - Peacefully, surrounded by love, Robert Cornell Zavitz in his 74th year, passed away at Bluewater Health. Devoted and cherished husband of Susan (Webb) Zavitz of 41 blessed years. Treasured father of Perry Zavitz (Sherry), Siobhaun Heidman (Trevor) and Kip Zavitz (Amy). Sweet grandpa of Serah and Hannah Zavitz, Clare and Jamie Heidman and Kaitlyn, Makenna and Nathan Zavitz. Bob is also survived by sisters Doris Castle, Bea Casler and Gene O'Rourke. Predeceased by sister Louise Gordon and brothers Alan and Donald Zavitz. Bob also loved and was loved by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Harold and Heather Maw. Visitation will take at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE on Friday January 8th between the hours of 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Special thanks to the wonderful and compassionate care of the V.O.N. nurses, Dr. Dostaler and the Palliative Care nurses.
