WHITE, ROBERT LESLIE - At Bluewater Health on Thursday, December 9, 2010, ROBERT LESLIE WHITE, age 80, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Barbara Jean (Abel) White. Dear father of Wendy Houtby (Bruce) of Sarnia, Tracy White of Sarnia, Melissa Alber (Leo) of Exeter and Jocelyn Moberly (Scott) of Sarnia. Grandfather of Sandra, Richard, Jessica, Patrick, Barbara, Samantha, Mary, Heather and Robert. Great grandfather of Meagan, Kiana, Michael, Nicolas, Tyler and Trevor. Brother of Betty Craig and Donna Larson. Predeceased by daughter Pamela Beattie (2008) and sister Muriel Burkholder. Bob retired from Polysar and was a member of Central United Church. He had a love of singing and was a longtime member of the Melodyaires. Nothing pleased him more than to entertain a house full of family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, December 13th at 11:00 am. with The Reverend Christine Jerrett officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Society.
