Robert Humphrey Tracy

 Peacefully at his home for over 50 years on the lake in Bright's Grove, Robert (Bob) Tracy passed away surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80. Loving father of Liz D'Arcy, Sue (Steve) Andrews, Maureen (Rob) Leckie, Chris (Barry) Porter, and Paula Cox. Cherished grandfather of Jordon, Kevin (Kelsey), Carter, Jess, Kobe (Jadyn), Noah, Rachel. Adored great grandfather of Oliver, Zephyrin, and Juniper. Loyal brother of Marion Doyle. Predeceased by his parents Rena & Vern Tracy, sister Jean Speed, and infant brother John. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews & best friend Bob & Vinnie Dickenson. Bob was a devoted family man & his family was everything to him. He was a proud & loyal member with a long standing career as a Millwright with Local 1592. 

In retirement he enjoyed spending his winters walking the beaches & having a nice cold beer at local tiki bars in Bradenton, Florida. When Bob returned from his winters in Florida, he always had a smile on his sun kissed face. Bob also enjoyed cruising downriver to the old family farm in Sombra. He had good times at Swap Meets & Classic Car Shows with his buddies. He was proud of his 1970 GMC C10 pickup truck. 

Bob was young at heart, loved life & fought a courageous battle against cancer. Special thanks to Dr Lilly, Robyn & team at Bluewater Palliative Care Clinic, Dr Yoshida, BWH Cancer Clinic staff, VON Nurses Bernie, April & Faith. 

A funeral service will be held at the D.J. Robb Funeral Home and Cremation Centre Ltd. (102 Victoria Street, North, Sarnia, Ontario N7T 5W9) on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon until time of service. Cremation to follow. A private graveside committal of ashes will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to a charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D.J.
