Robert "Ace" David Robertson

Beloved husband of Mary (Beggs) for 62 years.  Loving father of Christine Walsh (Tommy), Scott (Susan), Craig (Crystal).  Predeceased by son Daniel (1979), daughter Lynn (1962), parents John and Elizabeth Robertson and siblings Jack and Marilyn.

Loving Poppy Dude to grandchildren Kristen (Jesse), Katie (John), Tyler David Ason, Brandon (Kylie), Jacob, Nick (Katie), Christopher (Shayla), Bradley and great-grandchildren Olivia, Wesley, Ava, Sophia and Danielle.  Best fur friend to Diesel.  Thank you to a good friend Bill Parnell.  Loved by many extended family members and friends.

Mechanic Extraordinaire – a true Master of his trade. A father figure and mentor to many over the years.  Hardworking is an understatement to describe his strong work ethic.  Described by his family as Genuine, Kind, Loving, Wise, Honest, Funny, Amazing, Understanding, Inspirational, Awesome – Human.

His wife of 62 years would often tease her Deuce by telling him “I’ll never give you a divorce because I don’t want you to be happy.”

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donation to the Sarnia Humane Society.
