Robert (Bob) William Jones of Sarnia passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Monday, August 28th with his loving wife of 40 years by his side.
His larger-than-life persona and trademark stubborness will not be forgotten.
He was born on December 25th, 1942 in Chatham and was the son of the late Marshall Jones and Reba (Crouchman) Jones.
Bob was a long-time employee of United Taxi and also drove transport for Trimac, where he retired in 2007.
His son Craig will always remember him as being a hard-working man who enjoyed attending Blue Jay games with his sons. 
He was a dedicated Leafs fan and an advid golfer, which often left his wife, Donna, reminding him that he was married to her and not to his golf clubs.
Some days Bob was a grumpy, stubborn old fart, but his son Corey describes him as perfect.
His daughter, Carri-Lynn (Frank Laferriere) will remember her dad as always being someone she could depend on and always being there when she needed him.
Above all, we will all remember him as being an amazing, caring, thoughful husband and father. While we are extremely sad to lose him, we
are happy that he is now in a better place and with his best buddy, Maxwell. Bob spent his last moments looking into the eyes of his wife, both sharing one last memory together.
Donna would not have been able to get through this final journey with Bob without the help of his amazing health care team, Sheila, Steve, Mike,
Dr. Kim, Richard Kelch with his Northgate Pharmacy Team and also many other helpful individuals.

A celebration of life will take place for close family and friends on Saturday September 2nd at the family home at 238 George St. between the hours of 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Beginnings A.B.I. & Stroke Recovery Association or St. Joseph's Hospice.  Arrangements entrusted to the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE.
