IRVINE, Robert, 85 years - On April 1, 2012, surrounded by his family, Bob went home to God to join family and friends since passed. A veteran of WWII, he served in both the Fleet Air Arm and the Merchant Navy. Born in Liverpool, England, he brought his wife Kay and their children, Robert and Elizabeth, to Canada in 1966. Together, until Betty's passing in 1993, they attended Olivet Baptist Church in Sarnia and then Wyoming Baptist Church, where they fostered many friends. Two years ago he moved to Dorchester, Ontario to be closer to family where he attended First Baptist Church in Ingersoll. He is survived by Robert (Selkirk, ON) and Linda (St. Marys, ON), Elizabeth & Horst (Dorchester, ON), Bill (Edmonton, AB), Susan (London, ON) and Chuck (Charlottetown, PEI); Grandchildren Karen, Kevin, Jocelyn & Kevin, Laura & Tyler, Caitlin & Donovan, Clint, Devon, Eric and great grandchildren Kelsi, Garrett, Ava, Carter, Jack, Elizabeth, Joline, Kia & Ellie.
