Robert Harold Hattatt

HATTATT, ROBERT HAROLD – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bob Hattatt on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Vision Nursing Home at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Mary Jane (Yates) Hattatt and the dearly loved father of Brenda Chaulk (Gary) and Bruce (Marian). He was Grandpa of Jordan and Nathan, Brett and Brittany (Sam) and Great-Grandpa of Charlotte. He is also survived by sister in laws Joyce Wilson, Penny Taylor, Linda (Jim) McCarty and brother in laws Bob (Chris) Yates. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Edna Hattatt and in laws Lloyd and Louise Yates, brother in laws Don Taylor, Larry Yates, Jack Fulcher and sister in law Betty Fulcher and nephews Randy Fulcher and Michael McCarty. The family would like to thank Dr. Gannon and the staff at Vision Nursing & Rest Home for their love and support and his home PSW Michael Murphy. Bob worked at Walker Brothers for 35 years and was a Point Edward resident for the past 60 years and a longtime member of Point Edward United Church until its closing. Family was very important to Bob. He enjoyed the time spent with family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Point Edward Presbyterian Church, 306 Michigan Ave. in Point Edward on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Point Edward Community Hall, 210 Monk St at 12:00 o’clock noon. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, Point Edward Presbyterian Church or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J.
