Robert Murray Edgar

At Fiddick's Nursing Home, Petrolia, Ontario, ROBERT MURRAY EDGAR, born on May 27, 1926, and passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Survived by his wife Edith (Leckie), sons Robert Dennis (MaryBeth), Brian, Donald (Tracy), Kevin (Deb), Stephen, brother Eric (Mary Elizabeth) of Waverly, Nova Scotia, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also survived by his sister - in-law Dorothy Jackson. Predeceased by his parents Robert Henry Edgar (1983), Winnie (1951) and Gladys (1971), daughter Brenda (1980), grand -daughter Theresa (1984), brothers Richard (1991), Bill (1997), sisters-in-law Violet , Winifred (2009), sisters Ruth (2001), Marion (2006), brothers in-laws Phil Palmer (2001), Bud Lee (2006), Robert Leckie Jr. ( 1985), Raymond Leckie (2002), Clifford Leckie (2012), Howard Jackson (1999) and sisters in-law Maureen Leckie (2009), Josephine Leckie (2013) and Dorothy Leckie (2013).

Lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.Family and friends may visit with the family at Dunlop United Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

• Details: A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held at Dunlop United Church on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Private family interment of ashes will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
