Robert Samuel Crothers

Crothers Robert Samuel (Sam). It is with sadness our family announces the passing of SAM Crothers. He lost a battle well fought at the age of 80 on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Bluewater Health. With his loving wife and best friend Marlene (Dooks) of 60 years and his son Daniel Crothers (Michelle) of Brampton. A proud Grandfather of Rhiannon Crothers. Will be missed by sister in law Cheryl Dooks and Nancy Andress (Tom) and nieces and nephews Chris, Pam and Shawn as well as several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Mother Maybelle Seed and his much loved Grandparents Sam and Helen Smith. Dear cousins Ron (Lois) Heal, Joan Brown, Jerry Smith (Mary) and Gloria Smith. Very dear longtime friend and camp buddy Andy (Sam) McKinnell (June) of Brighton. Sam had a life of Happy times camping in the love of his life his Silver Air Stream Trailer most of all with his dear Camp Buddy his beloved Grey Hound Fire. Sam was a Secretary of the Kiwanis Club. He was one time (owner of Lakeshore Rent All), Sales Manager with Scotts of Sarnia, Wackenhut Security and Gliss of Corunna. His passion was driving truck. He enjoyed his summers at Mooretown Camp Ground.
