At Bluewater Health on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, RAYMOND (RAY) BERNARD LAVIOLETTE, age 73, of Sarnia, beloved husband of Laurette (Loretta) (Desjardins) Laviolette. Dear father of Bridget Smiley and her husband Paul, Carole Abraham, Rick Laviolette and his wife Shari and Raymond Laviolette all of Sarnia. Loving Grandfather of Brooke, Sondra, Christopher, Rhonda, Sarah, Jessica, Geoffrey, Kyle, Haley and Chantal. Great-grandfather of Landon, Gracie, Michael, Brandon, Stevie-Ray, Tristan, Koby, Taten and Liam. Dear brother of Margelaine, Gregory, Remi and Beatrice. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Special friend of Bill W. Pre-deceased by a son Michael and a brother Noel, Mr. Laviolette was born at Buckingham, Quebec and had resided in the Sarnia area for most of his life. Ray was the proprietor of Ray's Painting. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (Devine & Stuart Streets) on Tuesday, April 19 th. at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Visitation at the D.J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday, April 18 th. from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Lambton Lung Association (cheques only please).
