HARDY, RALPH – It is with profound sorrow and sadness, the family of Ralph Lynnsay Hardy, age 83, announces his passing at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, June, 18, 2017. He was best friend and partner for over 65 years with Daintry Adele McPhedran and loving father of Bruce Lynn Hardy (Georgina), Lonnie Lee Ostroski (Jack) and Scott Lyndsay Hardy (Annie), dear grandfather of Diego, Lindsey, Brent, Kendra, Kerri, Nicolas and Patrick, dear great-grand of Matias, Quinton, Isadora, Rowan, Shealon, Monroe, Mirren, Kennedy, Reese, Connor, Chloe and brother of Doris LeNeve (Jim) and Penny Viselka. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Thomas, Bruce, Bud (Allan) and his sister Mary Tobin. Ralph served with the 3rd Royal Canadian Horse Artillery for over 25 years and was a teacher at the School of Artillery. After retiring from the military he worked at Polysar as their Chief of Security for 13 years. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Wednesday, June 21st, 2017 between the hours of 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral and committal services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Memories and messages of condolence may be sent through www.djrobb.on.ca
