Queena Ruth Scott

SCOTT, QUEENA – At Bluewater Health on Tuesday, October 03, 2017, Queena Ruth (Shanks) Scott, age 83 of Corunna passed away. She was the loving wife of Charlie Scott and the late Ronald Gilbert Shanks (1998) and dear mother of Cynthia Freer (Douglas), Stephen Shanks (Linda), Melanie Shanks and Brenda Kneeshaw (Jeffrey) and son in - law Fraser Harrison. 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren also survive. She will be missed by her lifelong friend Ruth Pede. She was predeceased by her daughter Tammy Harrison (2016) and her sister Oma Meekison. With her friend and traveling partner Ruth they spent many years visiting overseas, in the southern islands and Alaska. Friends may visit with the family at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 N. Victoria St., Sarnia) on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and again on Friday from noon until the funeral service begins at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the D. J.
