Phyllis Peters

At Bluewater Health on Thursday, May 3, 2012, PHYLLIS (LINES) PETERS, of Sarnia passed away. She was the loving wife of the late Clayton Harold Peters (2002) and dear mother of John Clayton Peters of Sarnia and Amy Irene Peters and Allan Weir of Arkona, grandmother of John Peters, Joy Kita, Clayton Peters and Phyllis Peters and 8 great-grandchildren and step-grandmother of Michael, Maria and Angela. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Amy (Klegg) and Jack Lines, daughter in law Janet Peters, brothers Jack, Joe, Scotty and Norm Lines. Born in Rochdale, England and came to Canada as a young girl with her mother and brothers to unite with her father who came a year earlier to start a new life in a new country. She was a Sarnia area resident ever since. Cremation will take place and will follow with interment at Resurrection Cemetery at a later date. Memorial gifts to the Sarnia Humane Society or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
