Peter Stewart Lyall

PETER LYALL 

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Peter Stewart Lyall (age 67) of Sarnia Ontario on July 22, 2022 in Palliative Care at Bluewater Health. Born on July 29, 1955 in Trinidad, he was the son of Stewart Thomson Lyall and Mary Josephine Lyall (née Doyle). Peter is survived by his brothers Iain Lyall and Mark Lyall (Maria Zytaruk), his sister Elizabeth (Lee) Lyall, his nephew David Parrott, and his cousins in the UK - Jane Chrystal, Bernadette (Bernie) Tanham, and Joanne Bagguley. Pete will also be greatly missed in the UK by Catherine Jack who is a dear family friend. Peter attended Stoneyhurst College and art college in the UK, and in 1978 he emigrated to Sarnia. An avid music fan, Peter loved to share his passion for music with his many friends. Pete's family extends their deepest gratitude to his dear friends Christina and Gary who made it possible for him to spend the last year of his life at home. We would also like to thank Dr. Alison Crombeen, the nurses and staff in the palliative care ward, Bayshore Home Care Services, and Pete’s PSW Cassandra.
